Madison has left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's only been an hour. She's on the road with Jeanie for an 11 day stay with them down on the central coast!
It's so hard but I know this will be good for her.
She'll get to spend a lot of time with all of our family down there.

This is my first time away from her for any considerable amount of time! And never at this distance!
Calm down, calm down, calm down...
This is what I keep saying to myself over and over again! : )
She's going to have a great time.
I miss her already...

Today is our anniversary. I love you Josh!

Today we went swimming again! Here are a couple of pictures of my nephew Elijah making silly faces for the camera. We had a fun time!

This last week was good. Madison went to Golfland Sunsplash for a field trip on Monday and is going bowling tomorrow.
Each week they have a new field trip at her summer day camp, Camp Zone. She's been really enjoying it but this is her last week. School starts VERY soon. August 13! In my day (sounds old) we didn't start school until after Labor Day!
She'll also be starting soccer in August with the first game August 11. This will be her first organized team sport. We hope she likes it! I'll keep you posted...

LOOK!!!
This nasty thing came out to greet me when I was watering the plants! Yuck!
There are a lot of black widows around the outside of the house.
USUALLY, they're not out and about in the daylight.

Anyways, I'm feeling loads better! Hurray!

We had a nice relaxing weekend and went to see Transformers! It was great.
Have you seen it? What are your thoughts?

I forgot to add...

My mom is WONDERFUL!!!
She brought me a bagful of goodies! Tons of soup, some green tea, and a bottle of 7-up.
I'll be on the road to feeling better in no time!!!

My Aunt Linda has been out here visiting from Seattle. It's been great! She has a 12 year old son Tristan and a four year old daughter Jocelyn. It's been great to reconnect with my Aunt Linda! I haven't seen her in years.
Madison and Jocelyn really hit it off!!! They've been visiting each other over the last few days.
Sunday we all went swimming. Monday, Jocelyn came over after work and hung out with us. Tuesday my aunt took Madison for the day while I was at work. They went to the Zoo and Fairytale Town. Finally, tonight they all went to dinner.
I couldn't make it. I am feeling quite sick right now and needed to rest. I have some kind of terrible cold or something.
My mom returned from Ohio yesterday and took Madison with them to dinner. I'm so happy my mom is back! She was only gone a week but I missed her and Les!
Here's a picture of Madison showing her cousin Jocelyn her bedroom. They played dress-up together.

Jumping!

Well take a look!
Madison is starting to feel REALLY comfortable swimming! I was surprised. We had a rocky start to swimming this year but she's doing wonderfully now! The swimming lessons have really paid off.
I still watch her with an eagles eye but I'm happy to see that she's enjoying it!
I loved the water as a little girl. Actually, I still love the water so it's great to see her!

Fourth of July

Fourth of July was lots of fun! Good friends, good food, and good fireworks!
It was blazing hot as expected. The swimming made it a little easier to cope with.
We did fireworks in the evening and our neighbors were out too! That was nice, we had double the show!

Today Madison had a field trip to Rocknasium with her Camp Zone Pack. It's a large rock wall climbing facility. As most of you know, she LOVES rock climbing and had a wonderful time there.
She's still in swimming lessons and doing really well.
Over the weekend Josh was in San Jose for a bachelor party. My sister Summer, my niece Alonna, and my nephew Elijah came and stayed the night. It was a lot of fun for the kids. We all had a good time.
This week we are looking forward to the Fourth of July. We're having some friends over and will be BBQing and swimming. Here in Sacramento I think EVERYONE will be doing a water activity! The weatherman is forecasting 105 degree's for the day!
