City Tree Lighting

Some fun at our city tree lighting ceremony. They had fake snow, hay rides, train rides, live music, and lots of crafts for the children to enjoy.

Ready for Christmas

Yesterday we spent the day getting the Christmas tree decorated and today I put the lights up outside.

Josh had his ankle surgery on November 5th and is recovering well. He can't put any weight on it for a few more weeks but the stitches are coming out tomorrow. He has two six inch cuts. One down the front of the ankle and the other along the outside of the ankle.
I just wanted to let everyone know that he's doing well!!!

Madison had a Halloween Movie Night with her friends last week. They all dressed up in their costumes and had pizza, popcorn, and.. Candy! We watched the kid movie "Monster House".

Just to keep you posted...
Recently Josh hurt his ankle while rock climbing. Just a minor fall but it still hurt. He went to the doctor and apparently he's broken a piece of bone off and now needs surgery. He's scheduled for Wednesday November 5th. I know, I know it's very soon but the doc says it won't heal correctly on its own and right now it's cutting into his cartilage. He'll be home for a couple of weeks and then back to work with a walking boot for about six more weeks. Please think happy thoughts for him! I know he'll do well!

A Night Out...

Josh and I went to a concert recently. The Plain White T's and Panic at the Disco.
It was fun. A nice evening out on our own!
